Fun Squarespace website upgrade for a Portland Game Store!
This incredible game and puzzle shop in Portland’s Sellwood neighborhood had a website that was stuck in the past—literally.
It didn’t reflect their updated logo, had zero personality, and was nearly impossible for the owners to update! For a small, independently owned store with a loyal local following, that kind of digital presence just wasn’t cutting it.
Their new website needed to feel as playful, welcoming, and unique as the shop itself—so we built one from the ground up on Squarespace. The new site is retro-inspired, fun, and super easy to maintain. Now, the site reflects the heart of the business and makes it simple for the team to keep things up to date. Plus — we set up email campaigns for them so they can send targeted marketing emails to their fans and loyal customers! A total level-up.
Some focuses included:
adding playful elements across the site to convey brand personality
implementing consistent branding and design that is engaging to the eye
